HELLO. I'M RICHARD AGER. WELCOME TO NH OUTLOOK. ON THIS WEEK'S PROGRAM, WE WILL LOOK AT THE CULMINATION OF SEVERAL CONTROVERSIAL BILLS THAT GOT A LOT OF ATTENTION THIS SESSION.
BUT FIRST, THE ENTIRE WORLD IS PAYING CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE SPREAD OF SWINE FLU. MEXICO HAS BEEN THE COUNTRY MOST AFFECTED. SO FAR, MORE THAN 100 DEATHS HAVE BEEN REPORTED THERE. AS WE TAPE, NEW HAMPSHIRE'S FIRST POSSIBLE CASES OF SWINE FLUE ARE BEING TESTED BUT HAVE YET TO BE CONFIRMED.

STATE HEALTH OFFICIALS BEGAN A SERIES OF BRIEFINGS EARLY IN THE WEEK. THEY SAY THEY ARE IN REGULAR CONTACT WITH THE CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL, AND HAVE OBTAINED ADDITIONAL STOCKPILES OF THE ANTI-VIRAL THAT HAS BEEN USED TO COMBAT SWINE FLU.

On this week's program, we will look at the culmination of several controversial bills that got a lot of attention this session. But first, the entire world is paying close attention to the spread of Swine Flu. Mexico has been the country most affected. So far, more that 100 death have been reported there. As we tape, New Hampshire's first possible cases of Swine Flu are being tested but have yet o be confirmed. State health officials began a series of briefing early in the week. They say they are in regular contact with the centers for disease control, and have obtained additional stockpiles of the Anit-Viral that has been used to combat Swine Flu.
